“The characters in this romantic comedy aren’t even wearing protective masks, are less than six feet of each other for the majority of the runtime, and even had the nerve to share a warm embrace at a few points! Terrible example to be setting for an impressionable audience. No doubt about it: this movie’s Pre-COVID

Look on the bright side: you’re a white man, and yet despite the inherent privilege that entails, your life is nothing short of a complete failure! Perhaps this means the status quo might be beginning to shift?

Is “Britt” the evolutionary form that comes after Karen?

Someone can’t just turn their blackness “on” whenever they say something you agree with, or “off” when they say something you don’t. What a stupid, arrogant thing to say; race obviously doesn’t work like that. But hey, keep up the pathetic whining!

Their big mistake was inexplicably trying to emulate The AV Club in its tiresome current state, rather than when the site was actually good!

When the heck did this forgettable-faced “Great Job,Internet!” jockey rise up the ranks to become The AV Club’s editor-in-chief?

Might as well just bury this show!

This site really has no clue how to show support to marginalized communities other than through performative white guilt. Then again, it’s hard to blame the guy for being this bitter when he’s reduced to writing up daily Jimmy Fallon recaps.

Hey, don’t knock “being calm and reasonable” until you’ve tried it at least once!

The only thing that’s “concerning” here is just how little it took for you to emotionally unravel! R U OK??

“We at The A.V. Club love a good apology and will happily report one as soon as we see one.”

If anything, the fact that things have calmed down enough (at least in New Zealand) to be able to resume shooting a movie sounds like an indication that life slowly is returning to normal, but hey, keep on clickbaitin’, Boresanti!

This seems a little out of line. I mean, in order for him to “stop trying”, he would have had to have started in the first place!

Sam barely even knows how to spell “snark”, let alone how to actually use it effectively. His attempts at sarcasm are so clumsy that you wish he would just write in a more straightforward way. Sean O’Neal he ain’t!

Sounds like this show is about as fun to work on as it is to watch!

He’ll always be Rafi from The League to me.

This movie sucks ass. It has such a terrific ensemble of today’s top female comedic talent, but completely squanders them in yet another shitty “Hangover, but this time with women!” comedy with no laughs. It even manages to pull off the seemingly impossible feat of making Ilana Glazer unlikable. Don’t bother with this

I would say their creative possibilities are limited by Al Jean, who’s now been the showrunner for almost 20 seasons. Maybe it’s time to switch things up a bit?
