not only did the model Y not hit the gas he is sitting there with the brakes on while in reverse. i dont understand
Interesting observation. Bronco Raptor is freeking HEAVY. Its 5733lbs and 418hp. BUT the 2dr 4cylinder Bronco is 4286 lbs with 300hp and can be had with a manual. But Ford offers a factory tune giving it 330hp. This means a Bronco Raptor has 13.7lb/hp but the factory tuned 4 cylinder is better at 12.9lb/hp.
yeah theres lots of ways to get better than v8 power to weight ratio without actually being a v8. But i see the appeal
If i were in this market shopping a luxury car with a base price of $64k, i would certainly be considering the BMW i4. The eDrive40 has 335hp but hits 60 in 4.8 and has a base price of $57k
because electrified cars typically have a different look than their pure ICE counterparts and they tend to annoyingly remove the grill in the current design trend
but those things you mentioned are the “significantly better” things im talking about. Im not talking just performance. I agree that Ferrari interior design and materials are better but are they really worth 45% higher price tag? Especially when the Artura is extremely good itself?
if your $100k more expensive car is not significantly better youve dropped the ball
I dont think they dropped the ball at all. The artura is one of the best looking McLarens and its priced at $225k while the 296 starts at $320k. Sure the 296 is a little faster 0-124 in 7.3 instead of 8.3 but is it $100k+ better? i dont think so at all
Its a shame that the 340e didnt get the same hybrid system that the 330e did. Id love a 340 with usable (barely) electric only range and an electric motor that adds over 100hp.
the MK7.5 was so much better than the MK8. would have been even better if we could have had a 2dr MK7.5 or better yet the ideal unicorn car, a GTI wagon
that would require something unpopular like regulating the free market. oil producers export because they can get more money
thats totally a typeo. Im in Austin and i dont pay more than $3.60-$4 for 93 octane
our oil is priced the same as the global market. So despite the fact that we produce more oil than ever with the exception of 2019, oil is priced the same as it is worldwide. So when OPEC cuts supply and Russian supply is off the market it causes global oil prices to rise and US oil companies sell it at that global…
