you never go 0-15 on a track
you never go 0-15 on a track
It already exists at many offices in my city
the prior GTI with 220hp had identical acceleration to the WRX if you exclude the WRX 0-15mph launch. GTI had a higher trap speed than the WRX and the new one is quicker. Its likely the new GTI is significantly quicker than the new WRX for everything but 0-15mph launches
but imagine this, imagine that workplaces commonly have enough chargers for their employees, so now you can get back up to full charge while at work. and imagine that the build back better bill it passed and you have quick chargers available everywhere so that if in an emergency you can take 5 min to add the extra…
yeah its ugly especially making something look more like an CUV automatically makes the car uglier
the second one is how they originally debuted. I have not seen the first or third ones before
or if you make it relatively quickly swappable, you could have just one battery for your around town commutes and add batteries for a road trip by renting them. headed out of town, swap the range extending battery in, get to your destination and dont have time to charge, swap for a charged one, return home and return…
I wish electric cars were offered with battery capacity options for the owner. If a car like this had say 3 banks of batteries that were reasonably easy to remove/replace by a mechanic, you could offer it to the public at different price points with the option of expanding or replacing capacity in the future.

love the box flare fenders on the new one. It no longer looks like a melted Jetta
Im more impressed by the people running around with 400hp modified GTIs because those can still get very high 30s mpg when driven conservatively. Its crazy the combination of power and efficiency those cars can get. I had one with 340hp (stock turbo) weighing just over 2900lbs, and managed 39mpg on a road trip from…
Personally i just want the sound of the flat plane crank reving to 8600rpm. Id prefer that even if it had less hp than the base c8. I wonder if they could make a baby vette with a v6 version of this motor thats smaller and lighter. I dont need 670hp nor is that even usable on the street. Id love a smaller vette…
once people can drive them and hear the experiences of others EV truck adoption will increase
VW reliability has changed massively in the last 11 years.
For a fun commuter for the price i dont understand purchasing this over a VW GTI. That car is a lot more fun with good manual and auto options. And no stick on ipad or econo car looks, plus plaid seats
all the more reason to have a fun light sports car for commute. driving a miata at 40hp feels like a mustang at 90mph
id love a daily drivable electric sports car as long as its light. for commuted i dont need to transport gear and family and id love to have a fun car thats environmentally friendly for short commutes. Why drive a 5000lb electic SUV with 400 miles of range for 50 milr commutes when you could commute in something…
