I just dont seem how you can possibly justify getting one of these at this price compared to competition.
A manual 1.5T with 180hp costs $30k.
A GTI with 240hp and a manual costs $30k and it comes with more sporty features and an LSD and larger brakes. I just dont see the value in these civics at all

New cars are better, but only when built with the goal of maintaining old car feel. That means making the car lightweight, giving it a manual (or enjoyable auto), paying attention to steering feel perhaps even using hydraulic steering, and keeping the interior focused on the driving experience.

yeah modded stage 2. the problem was i was one of the few with a defective throwout bearing. overly heavy clutch made it fail at 58k without that clutch it would have failed after 60k and been out of warranty. eitherway its an out of pocked engine replacement :( its rare but happened to me.
