I will say it is cool that is has a feature to restrain children in the back seat

really dont like how these look. Its like a scion tC sedan

i completely agree and think there is a market for low range light weight electric sports cars. once people realize that with a commuter style car they rarely drive more than 100 miles in a day they will see the appeal of these cars.
If you drive 15k a year and dont drive the car at all 2 weeks of the year and never

wrap all that black on the Toyota in body color and thats actually an attractive suv thingy as far as suv thingies go

oh god thats awful. its like a reject vehicle design from Judge Dred because it was too outlandish.

Also its crazy seeing that guy in the photo. Even at car shows people are trying to steal catalytic converters ;)

we dont want it if it still only comes with a CVT.
If thats the case we would rather have a Golf R wagon

This is my vote too.

compared to this which sacrifices cargo space and looks IMO

This is getting closer to what im wanting as an electric car. I want an electric wagon thats affordable. If they were to just give it more of a square back allowing for more cargospace it would almost be there. would still be a bit tall for a wagon but would be close enough to get me to purchase

yeah modded stage 2. the problem was i was one of the few with a defective throwout bearing.  overly heavy clutch made it fail at 58k  without that clutch it would have failed after 60k and been out of warranty.  eitherway its an out of pocked engine replacement :( its rare but happened to me.

its was more a comment for others who may not know

I had a manual PP GTI S 2dr and the manual clutch was a constant headache and caused engine failure. It just wasnt fun anymore after i experienced that 1:1000 bad luck so swithed to DSG for more reliability when modding. i just have eternal shit luck like that

yep i once owned an 86 MR-2 and miss the days of such light cars. But these days sub 3000lb is light. And a 2dr GTI with a stage 2 makes 330-350hp and at that weight is a complete blast

In the states the only year we got a Legacy GT wagon with manual was 2005.  good luck finding one

They do make non alltrack AWD sportwagens. Thankfully those get the DSG and not the slushbox. not sure if they made manuals but if they did they are exceedingly rare. But i opted for the alltrack and lowering it route.  you get better features that way like the fender stereo and can even get great stock seats in the

I mean if you want a manual you have to do a manual swap on it.  And modding it is expensive compared to cars that come already with turbos and electronics that allow just tuning for increased performance

I had a manual GTI 2dr and have moved on to a DSG alltrack that im modding. I get the want for modding a manual but in the VW products i recommend the DSG for less headaches. But if you want a wagon to mod, i cant think of a better option

I had a 2dr 2016 GTI manual and stock its 2980 but with spare/jack removed and the light wheels/tires i had it was just over 2900lbs. its hard to find a car that light these days especially one easily capable of making 300-4000hp with just a few slight mods

except the 2002 bugeye. that was a great car at the time.

i mean when i was shopping i couldnt find another car i could purchase for $25k that was quicker and more fun and sat 4 adults and got mileage anywhere near it. With some slight tuning you are well over 300hp (mine was 335) and with good tires and rear sway bar the handling is quite good. all while getting high 30s
