I agree, and I SO WISH it could happen. But it won’t, sadly. There are far too many people out there making justifications for why they pay attention to, or even ADMIRE, the Kardashians and their ilk.

This is a good piece. A useful piece. But I’ve always been critical of the Kübler-Ross model. Academics in psychology dismiss the “stages of grief” as being non-scientific, and point out the concept was disseminated almost wholly by the popular press. I know my experiences have never matched up with the model.
