Wait, you seriously believe that deleting the app is all it takes? That makes your snark seem even dumber.

PLOT TWIST: After initially apologizing, the Catholic church has, in true Catholic church fashion walked it back. As per the Freep, here’s the Catholic church’s new statement:

“OH! No, no, no... You turned off ‘TRACKING,’ it’s not TRACKING your location anymore. It’s just KNOWING your location. It’s a feature.”

Really weird that you’re all about respecting the church but you disagree with the Bishop who said the priest was in the wrong!!!!!!!!

If you don’t like what the church teaches, and always has taught, about suicide

they TELL you they are, but i guarantee no isp exists today that isnt collecting user data for some reason you arent aware of. thats just free money left on the table for no reason.

This part is worthy of being called out, too:

(...would have clotheslined that asshole)

The bereaved father at one point walked to the pulpit and whispered to the priest, “Father, please stop,” but their pastor continued with statements denouncing the way their son’s life ended, the couple said.

Many people seem to be taking you up on your self-righteous offer more and more, because it seems some of y’all have a WHOLE FUCKING LOT to say about the personal decisions of people, and not what people decide to do to, say, minors.

This past weekend, I was talking to my wife about a baseball related print that I saw hanging on a wall somewhere, and that I thought it would make a good Christmas gift for our son. She agreed, and I did some googling and found it. It’s sold only on a small, baseball related website. I bought it. Not 5 minutes later,

They’ll still track you...you just won’t know they are tracking you.

Good idea.  Quit Facebook.  Trust me, you won’t miss it.

Nope, even if you stop using FB they’ll track you anyway using data they scrape from other users and other, non-FB services you’ve used. The risk with FB is not that you can inadvertently upload personal information yourself, but that you have no control over the information that other people share about you. And

What good is changing my settings if they don’t stop location tracking? Seems like the only way to stop FB tracking is to not use FB.

I have a Tumblr dedicated to a particular truck I own and I collect pictures of them in use, I’m in the MVPA (Military Vehicle Preservation Association). They have flagged pretty much every picture with GIs with their shirts off, pretty common in the Nam pictures, fortunately not in the Korean War pictures, actually

As an (admittedly just starting out) artist, this has been a nightmare. I’ve had pictures flagged that weren’t. I’ve had pictures not flagged that absolutely should have been. Every time I post something, I immediately have to check to see if it’s been flagged.
