I thought Bayonettas dad went bad cause he imprisoned the spirit of the bad guy within himself thus eventually succumbing to corruption. Not through any desire for vengeance.

“I am writer.”
The SNES mini is emulation, and some people lack the technical know-how to set up an emulator and/or are uncomfortable with the idea of downloading ROMs online as opposed to paying for a legally-acquired version. It’s a simple device designed to bank on nostalgia, and appeal even to people who stopped playing games…
Fine. It’s canon to save the animals.
They are both risk averse AND amidst a component supply shortage.
It’s not doubtful, it’s stupid. It’s an idiotic idea to even entertain. Artificial scarcity does not work the way people obviously think it does. Applying that word to what Nintendo is supposed to be doing is wrong.
The thing is fucking portable. Bleeding edge graphics are not supposed to be its thing.
It’s combat system was absolute trash. Changing it is the best thing Level5 could’ve ever done to the series.
Well, Sega do need amateurs to come in and do their job for them. Nintendon’t have that problem. ;)
Nintendo is well known at this point as adamant about protecting its copyrights. Fan game makers, stop using their IPs and instead use their games as inspiration to create your own IPs. Mario does not need to be in your platformer, this has already been proven by sadistic cat games.
I’m not obligated to do anything other than share my honest opinion, but I’ll honor your request to share what positive feelings I have on the subject. I enjoyed Adventure of Mana quite a bit, and I love Secret of Mana. I think it’s great whenever Square Enix focuses on a property other than Final Fantasy, which I…
Didn’t they relocate the story to be set in the US? If so, then it’s not whitewashed. It’s just a localized adaptation, like Edge of Tomorrow and House of Cards. That is perfectly acceptable. There’s no expectation to cast Asian American actors, though it would have been nice if they had. If they had kept it set in…
Wow.... Sometimes I take “2017" for granted, I guess...
Yeah but then Kamitami gets called a 14-year-old by gaming journalists and assorted types. :) Maybe if people stopped with that bullshit, devs and artists would feel less shamed and forced to come up with some explanation.
C’mon, Jason, you know you’re above this condescending snark. Obviously some people still choose to play and love their Wii U, and many of those people are purposely avoiding buying a Switch because they were annoyed at how quickly Nintendo abandoned the Wii U. I know two of those people myself.
Some people have all of the above, and still enjoy the Wii U. The U is hooked up to the main TV in my house still, and gets nearly daily use. There are a lot of good games on it, and it kind of cool that they’re still popping some VC games onto it. It doesn’t cost Nintendo much if anything to do that, so why not?
You could just report on this without the dripping condenscension. It costs Nintendo little to port already released games and I’m glad to see they’re still doing so.
Now, now. The Wii U was fun and pleasant to use. Not pleasant to explain to people who didn’t know it existed though.
Good luck learning Japanese! While harder to learn foreign languages as an adult, in the case of Japanese you’re better for it. I tried valiantly to learn in high school for close to the same reasons (50% fascinating culture, 45% JRPGs and 5% Anime interests) and it was seriously the freakin’ weabos in the class…
