Yes... yes it is. Don’t go to Japan. Your mind will melt if you see how specialized stuff gets over there.

Sounds like a couple key players on both sides in this story made some huge mistakes along the way. Just think how much time could have been saved if more rules (things like terminology consistency or the file format should be really basic stuff. Not using TMs is understandable, but no glossary at all?) had been set

I think you’re pretty much spot on with your observations and assumptions, based on the information that’s been made public.

Enjoyed it! If it were up to me I’d have put less plants at the part where you first meet the stacked fire spewing plants, and make it just a single row. Save the stacked double row for the part afterwards, to build up tension :)

Let’s see if my Fiery Fortress will claim just as many lives as your Shroom Race. Great timing on the maze before the big pirana plant!

Boy how I miss that wacky Swapnote. Nice to see it back in some form after Nintendo took it down because of those creeps. Along with the great music!

Makes me want to visit Goshiki-Numa again...

I agree, but a lot of excellent monster design for FFVI was done by Nomura, before he entered his never-enough-zippers phase. The pre-final boss bosses are supposed to be Nomura’s work

That battle system should get its children set on fire and burned alive. What an incredible waste of superb graphics and an interesting premise. I never bothered to play much further from the point where you get the boat. Couldn’t deal with that shit gameplay anymore.

Might have something to do with the fact that you seem to have excellent taste in games and music, combined with a propensity for synesthesia. Both things are very aweseome indeed.

:) You’re not wrong, sir.

Great contribution.

...until they release the Revive Aeris DLC package. We’re talking about a videogame published by Square in 2015 that’s going to be released in 2017 or 2018—it’s not completely unthinkable (unfortunately).

Don’t worry, they’ll find a way to shorten it to the standard 4 syllable format.

I worry about some of the things I’m hearing about Xeno X. Like how the equipment system and its ease of use is a downgrade as compared to Xenoblade, and how you can’t cancel kizuna or story quests, while also not being able to have both active at the same time. Which means you’re kinda locked into a quest once you

Awesome shots, Richard, well done.

I loved the idea when I read about it, but admittedly that’s mostly because I don’t like online gaming a whole lot. But hey, not all is lost for you, the ‘world enemies’ you fight with online friends look really really awesome. And there’s always Skype ;)

I don’t think so. The whole concept of online for this game was to be “loosely connected,” with emphasis on the single player game. The developers likens the online to having people in the other room while you play video games in yours. They’re there and you can feel their presence, it’s just not that they’re in your

Fortunately nobody in this story matters.

I was happy to see so many people already voiced the same opinion(s) I have on the subject. I mostly disagree with you, but immense kudos to you for writing your thoughts up in such a way that I’d still totally go for drinks with you. You make every outlet you write for a lot better, well done.
