I'm inclined to agree with you. It's a modern remake, and Benjamin Stacks sounds like a 2014 politician more than Oliver Warbucks. Oliver Warbucks sounds like 2013 novelist, at best.

Dunno if it's worth noting, but there is no "Daddy Warbucks" in the upcoming film. His name has been changed to Benjamin Stacks. I am hoping they drop the "Daddy" moniker entirely, Daddy Stacks sounds weird.
