Has anyone ever used Windows checkdisk on an external only to find that all your files have been moved to found.000 and the extensions have all been changed to .chk? Is there anyway to recover from this?

As well as using the installation disc with recovery tools you can download easyBCD Beta and reset your windows bootloader.

I'm not sure any electronic musicians will give up the gear they already have so they need something that can integrate with their mountains of VSTi's, and analogue gear. Not many people will use a hardware step sequencer that won't sync to a master clock. The kitara has no midi in so that's impossible.
