@j.snyder: Very well said... I'm actually kinda scared of some of the comments being made on this post. People are lambasting our legal system when it actually works.

@froggy: Well if a guy shot a 19 year old over a 'heated dog-walking argument' I would say that his peers are not exactly physicists or even skilled linguists.

@blyan-reloaded: I would assume that it has to do with talking about the case outside of deliberation. It's not what they talked about. They aren't allowed to discuss the trial no matter how impertinent the discussion may have been outside of the trial itself.

@Timothy Neill: I knew a guy who took an SSRI and he sang for our band. He wrote some cool songs with us then went on his meds and we lost all interest in him writing any more material. Not for the sake of him taking the meds but for his lack of creativity after them having kicked in.

I heard somewhere that rich people have computers and poor people have cell phones. I'm definitely not rich but was able to scrounge up money to purchase some computer parts. I perpetuate the 'living in the basement of my parents house' stereotype so only having a cellphone that calls and texts is fine for me.
