She's plenty talented technically, she just needs to expand into genres beyond "songs that play during elaborate suicides."

Adele is a fine singer but hot damn that was depressing as shit. Not that the musical numbers on SNL have to be upbeat but that was a bit much.

Finally saw Spectre, was not expecting to like it as much as I did. I heard some complaints about the story but it's pretty straightforward, and I like how it comments on the franchise. Also they manage to pull off the "villain conference" scene in a way that's downright chilling considering how cliche it is. If it's

From a historical perspective though, everything's important, even/especially the mediocre shit. It gives you a fuller picture of the culture of an era than just the masterpieces would.

I stopped watching a couple of seasons ago, did she get that bad? From what I remember she didn't get to do a lot but wasn't particularly irritating.

Joel is more like an old-timey movie host, in the tradition of Zacherley, Svengoolie, whatever local car dealer they'd get to show the all-night movie, etc. He's got a paternal slant and is explicitly the Bots' "dad" figure. Plus he's just kind of pleasantly weird.

Kevin Kline always sounds like he's really having fun with this part.

I feel the same way.

One of the pleasures of this show has been its digging up stories about awesome women you didn't necessarily hear about in history class. It's kind of feminist in its way.

In fairness this is pretty much SOP for major blockbuster movies. Writers are considered largely interchangeable.

The weird thing about D&D has always been is that it's always more dangerous and lethal in the early going than overall. Your average video game gets harder as it goes and as you learn more about how to play it. D&D's low levels are its most lethal, though, because the low numbers make everything really "swingy". 4e

Unfortunately a screw-up has left out a big element of the template, which seems to have made this page harder to get to. Pity because it means less discussion of an awesome episode.

THIS IS ON YOU, BOY!

Hell, that might help her chances. Make her look really badass.

I legitimately love that Bray Wyatt has explicitly gained Undertaker and Kane's powers. The cheese will live on!
