Apparently one of the reasons Langford got the job was she could scream on-key with the "crash" of the end titles.

Mostly the writing- there was the idea of pairing off Six with a goody-two-shoes companion, but she was never given any character development and was just Generic Companion #2321 much of the time.
Actually surprised that one hasn't come up yet. It's really top notch- the baroque design, the cutting and hateful dialogue, Leela saying "You try that again and I'll CRIPPLE you", just a classic.
Yeah, what do they think this is, some sort of family programme?
Why not correct the piece to refer to her correctly? The movie may get things wrong, but you could be more accurate.
As opposed to all that satire which doesn't target anyone or anything.
A hack is someone who doesn't care about the job they do, or does it lazily. While one could argue Stewart hasn't been in top form lately there's no denying the weird conceptual ambition Colbert often brings to his comedy pieces, whether they work or not.
The Bill Gates impersonator was probably my favorite part too. There's something just so slightly off about it.
Guardians of the Galaxy was really fun, and surprisingly affecting at times. Great cast, dazzling space visuals, a strong sense of humor, SUPERB soundtrack.
They're a commercial requirement because that's what's expected, but it's not like any movie needs a certain metacritic score to perform well. GotG is already a hit with generally good reviews, whether it scores 85 or 95 won't make a difference to anyone.
They were in the end credits, along with various other creators.
Ahem. A B IS A POSITIVE GRADE YOU IDJIT. THIS IS A POSITIVE REVIEW.
Weirdly enough this happened to me with Doom. The emulator/thingy I'm using, PrBoom, had (or maybe still has) a little glitch which has very little effect, but it makes one part of the last room in TNT:Evilution unwinnable (you can't get up to the platform with the red key because the stairs don't reach.) So I decided…
That honestly did strike me as an odd choice, given how the HBO show is, if not weiner-free, certainly on the low side.
The 1980 film The Visitor is derivative of a LOT of things, but feels like a true original. It's essentially The Omen with space aliens instead of the Devil, but just that change gives it a weird atmosphere as John Huston pursues a little girl who has the DNA of an ancient mutant criminal, whose mother is being used…
The show marathons really well- all the running jokes and character beats start to pile up.
Nah, screw waiting. Go all in. Screw all this "slowly easing the audience into awesome" approach.
There was actually an April Fool's video they did when the movie was being made where Jackson claimed to be planning a sequel where Kong's son fights Nazis.
My favorite is the Cacodemon.
It's because they can't advertise the character as "Captain Marvel", due to Marvel having yoinked the trademark back when the original character was in limbo. (Which is DC's own fault for keeping the character out of print.)
