Do me a favor and DON'T go telling the internet what name he chooses, okay?

I don't think anyone would have a problem with them doing a story about him; the problem that people seem to have is that they put him on the cover. Being on the cover of Rolling Stone conveys (or conveyed) a lot about being cool and hitting it big...I think people are questioning why they ran with this on the cover,

Publishing the photo isn't the problem — if they'd led with it at the start of the article it could make the same impact you're talking about here: young, handsome, boy-next-door kid capable of awfulness and destruction. But putting it on the cover like he's a rock star? The Jim Morrison side-by-side is a good one,

"Hurrah for the male gaze watching over us while we sleep!"

Adding:

For the sake of all of us, don't reproduce. You'll be doing the country a favor (see if you can convince the rest of Jezebel readers to do the same)!

She turned it into A Thing so she could blog about it in the hopes of getting a deal to write a book that gets optioned by Reese Witherspoon to be made into a horrible romcom. It's all about the $CAKE.

Don't want to be a hater, but why turn did she have to turn a fun little anecdote/experience into A Thing? Not everything has to be a meme, you guys.

The problem is that it taints the way the world views caucasian/asian relationships. Not every white dude who dates an asian girl is some white panel van pervert, but disgusting assholes like this make it seem that way.

Yeah, the title is really off-putting. Maybe it worked for the book's target audience, but for a show it's a poor choice. They should have gone with something simpler that doesn't connect what seems to be a thought-provoking, timely show with vapid fashion clichés.

Well, there go MY Saturday nights.

Me too because really there are so many good people who really want to discuss the issues and vote fairly. BUT when the re-elected Branstad that was the end of my fantasy of ever moving back. I am like you I will stay in my big city bubble but keep Iowan manners.

"Unfortunately by the time you're confident and self-aware and badass enough to feel like you're finally really get into having a ton of fun, casual sex with a whole bunch of partners, you're 29 and are like, fuck, I guess I need to not dump this potential husband just to go through a slutty phase."

Hey! His website offended me, so there's a 90% chance I'm a slut!

"A time of great uncertainty about one's own identity, it turns out, is not a ideal time to try and be a fun and carefree casual sexer."

Then there are families who focus so much on being "civilized" that they forget to pass on things like self-acceptance & self-love. Probably because they were too focused on being appropriate & civilized.

Oh, YAWN. Calling people "uncivilized" is some classist bullshit.

They do look bored in the pictures, but I'll vouch for those guys. They are Rep. Burnam and Rep. Gutierrez- both Democrats who have been active in the fight to preserve reproductive rights over the last weeks (and years, for that matter.) I think, more than boredom, you're probably witnessing their dejected

*sigh* Dammit, legislators.

how dare you not be willing to make sacrifices strangers on the internet insist you make!
