Yes, I do feel a similar awkward discomfort in that I also do not know what it is to ‘mob’. But, it did allow me to predict exactly who wrote this piece before seeing the by-line.

For all their criticism when they were new, the Bangle designs have aged pretty well. Take the E60 5 series. I think it still looks modern in and out (minus the idrive). I don’t love all of his designs, but he was somehow ahead of his time.

Yeah, it also makes sense from the standpoint of being easier for passengers, who may not be great with navigating menus through a knob with their left hand. Especially since it likely wont be their car and touchscreens, for all their problems do have the best learning curve. 

Yeah, BMW seems to have gone with the best of both worlds setup. I much prefer the knob, myself.

At least in California (S. Cal at that), my 30/35 series wheels are fine and I don’t find it too rough.  I guess it depends on region (people in Detroit would probably hate it).
