I am in the market for one of these. I’ve tried Apple TV before but just can’t justify $160 (with tax) for my limited usage - basically Netflix & Plex. I’m open to trying another option for streaming content... Is Roku 4 a good choice if I don’t have cable?

Ah, when you go back to JT, use the gate farther away (from 29 Palms)... they actually have a small observatory 0.25mi outside the park gates. They keep it open till a reasonable hour a few weekends a month.

Joshua Tree is my go-to place - it’s closer and skies that are comparable to Death Valley (not quite but close enough given the shorter drive)... in fact, I’m going out there this weekend.
