Haven’t used a D810 but this is probably the first photographer’s bag I’ve seen without a folder of memory cards, backup drives & batteries - but this solution is obviously much more portable.

Dear Lord! That was a PR disaster. But then again, we’ve been conditioned to marketing disasters in the recent past in the automotive industry. If they really wanted to be mysterious & secretive, they would’ve let the hype machine go overtime by just showing the concept with a few specs - no interviews, small press

In the A3 loaners I’ve had, that little knob does a lot and is kinda like the mini version of the big MMI hunkin’ dial. It does the MMI power (press down), volume (turnable) and rewind/forward (slide left to right). It’s quite useful but I’m not sure of its relative placement with the other things.

I don’t really like Audi’s new design language for the A4 and not a big fan of it on the A3 either; although I’ve had the current A3 as a loaner car a few times and it’s really good to drive. But on the exterior, there are just too many straight lines and sharp corners. I like my manual B7 S4, graceful is what I think

That looks like a “Shoot” button from a fighter flight stick!

The big, bold words don’t really make sense to me but is that a typo in “YOUR”? <facepalm> If it is a typo, it’s just under a tattoo-typo in terms of making the owner look like a moron.

Yeah, like the little cubby hole between the back seats to the trunk. Didn’t know a similar one existed in the front for Lambos; it’s a bit too practical for Lambo to put one :)

Yup, that’s what I was thinking too. For a moment, when he hung back, I thought that’s what he was going to do but then it seems like he paused for a sanity check.

Damn! Did that guy jump out the window?

Haha, me too. I was thinking whether it’s better to go slow and not force water in from the front or go fast and use the bow-wave but that might force the water inwards. And then it hit me, engine’s in the back. Us peasants drive front-engined cars.

$438k??!! Yeah, that’s not happening anytime soon. :(

Btw, I spent about 10 glorious minutes reading up more about an ‘07 V8 Vantage. And then, I found a few more quite close to me for <$50k. Of course, the warranty might be questionable at best.

Assuming the pillow doesn’t have a water leak.

Heh? But, I wish someone was hiring me :)

What’s wrong with 5?

Skeumorphism aka Forstallism.

So, that’s a Bolt & Volt from Chevy. Waiting for the Dolt.

It certainly is a very interesting issue. Although you use your unqiue skills to do your job well, isn’t the end product the property of the employer? I’m far from the legal world but just talking from logic. So, if you were involved in another company’s end product (marketing model or style of wall posters or trend

Yeah but that has the magic 360deg view thing.

No, I don’t think you need to have a second screen. Cars have had HUDs for a few years now and they treat the windshield as a screen to project onto. Yes, the smaller radius curve of a helmet’s visor will be challenging to project a clean image but that optical challenge, IMO, can be solved without needing a second
