While I agree that “the law is the law”, unfortunately, everything everyday isn’t so black and white. Ideally, yes, one set of laws would apply perfectly to everything and everyone. But we don’t live in a one-size-fits-all world. Sometimes, speeding away from what you deem is an unsafe situation is necessary... You

One day, I’ll get to work as/on something that would deserve a workplace so awesome.

I’m guessing Red Bull will just show up at each race with a skeleton crew, Energy Station with a swimming pool and 2 completely built cars with a hole where the engine should be. Kvyat & Ricciardo will just sit in their cockpits and make vroom-vroom noises.

Well, they did sign a contract... of course, they’ll find a clause in some corner that says “F U Bernie” but they signed it. Also, the fact that it was signed for such a long period means Red Bull pretty much agreed to stick around for better or for worse.

I used to use Waze a long time ago but went back to GMaps. I’ve always thought that since GMaps bought Waze and get live traffic info & rerouting options from Waze, is there any real advantage of using Waze instead of GMaps? Waze has cop info but GMaps has a more powerful search, history & all of Google at its

It would’ve been useful if they gave the list of 250+ apps that they’re removing from the App Store... I couldn’t find that in the source article or Googling... but, I’m now educated on how the private APIs are collecting data, thanks to the source article :)

Nope, he’s (TimSee is) right... I ride a bit but I do canyon carve, in my car, a lot. When there’s a gaggle of riders behind me, I can deal with them passing me in the narrow gaps they can find between the DY & my car... and I get to the far right as much as I can. What I hate is to constantly check my mirrors to see

Irrespective of whose fault this was, injury or loss of life or a prolonged medical condition is just horrible.

Holy wow, that’s a well-made gif, you can’t even tell when it cycles through the frames. It’s like a shuttle stuck at T-2 with infinite fuel!

Wonderful days! VR Headsets now have deals. If only I had a Samsung phone...

Meh, my boss’s policy is that most ideas are useless and everyone should undermine their own ideas before opening their mouths. “You should cull your own ideas” is what he said in my annual review, “engineering is a one-man sport”. He further justified that with a pencil sketch of a staircase and how most people even

Ugh, just another reason for people to take their eyes off the road and continue replying to their “buzinezz emails on their way to the buzinezz park.”

Nope, I got it, it’s just playing on the Republicans, nothing special. But my comment had nothing to do with his joke... rather, I recognized the legitimacy of crashing the Mustang. However, as 26 others have pointed out, I forgot about the gun.

you must be young

Yikes! I completely forgot about the gun :) My bad... Clearly, more than having just presence-of-mind, I should have the correct presence-of-mind!

If I had the presence-of-mind in such a situation, this is what I would want to do. Insurance can deal with damages later on (I would also think twice about damaging my precious...) but crashing it into the Mustang would’ve kept that asshole within the scene or at least long enough for someone to get his plates.

Oh yes, it most definitely will!! Stay away... /s

Just for laughs, I followed the link to the jailbreak instructions of 1.1.4. Boy, have we come a long way!

Why are manual transmissions called a “stick”? As automotive fans, at least we should call it by the proper name or a “manual” as a contraction. Granted it’s a pet peeve but I really hate it when people tell me “oh, you drive a stick”...
