Nope, Nintendo can’t take legal action against this game. While the influence is incredibly obvious, it isn’t enough for a cease and desist, let alone a lawsuit. This game is different enough to be legally protected.

You can’t copyright game mechanics - the art and music and story and stuff, sure, but a LTTP clone with none of those things is perfectly legal.

I will say....I had a blast with this game on the PS4, but being able to have this be portable as well is definitely a sell for me. It’s a fun game where you can pick it up, so a few thing for anywhere from a few min to hours, then drop it back down if you want.

Well first, we need some Pokemon games for the Switch...then feel free to kill the 3Ds.

Are there Cayde jokes? I confess I am a giant sucker for Cayde jokes.

This is a REALLY important point. Having Pokebank available right away made catching more or less optional; the bank was not available during the first SuMo global mission, when we got to 16m/100m catches.

At least in the revenue department, despite the propaganda stating otherwise- believe Nintendo themselves, articles like this exist:

Agreed. It looks fun, and I’m hoping to enjoy it without buying loot boxes.

Just rent it if you want the campaign.

Daily challenges get you 300 credits at most and heroes take upwards of 40k. Just rent it from redbox if you want to experience the campaign.

“If I’m buying the game, I’m saying I support Battlefront as a franchise. If I don’t buy loot boxes, I’m saying I’m playing your game but you got enough of my money”

It wouldn’t be the new norm if people like you actually helped others by voting with their wallets. If people actually did not buy a game with loot boxes like this, the company will have to re-evaluate what they chose to do, and make corrections.

Yeah, it’s not like you have to support their stupid lottery. Okay, it’s a giant mess, ruins multiplayer fairness, etc etc. But there is no point in faulting you or the other 14 million people who will buy the game and enjoy it.

Wow I think people have been hard on you. If the single player campaign is good and lasts at least 5 hours then I might get it as well when it goes on sale. I avoided the first EA Star Wars game because it felt like a rip off (no campaign, shallow multiplayer and microtransactions). It depends on what you value in a

Not to pile on, but . . . you’re still buying the game. The truth is these practices aren’t going to end until a significant amount of people give up the actual game to make a statement. All what you’re doing tells EA is that “we haven’t pushed people far enough yet. Maybe next time, we can push them a little farther.”

If you are purchasing the game, you are buying into them.

And there is the problem! Stop supporting their nonsense because you figure ‘it’s no big deal’. I am a lifelong gamer and I can honestly say that these micro transactions are KILLING gaming for me. Now the usual $50 - $70 price tag isn’t enough to justify the cost of making the game. Morons who still live in their

I’m buying the game for single player and bot modes. I can ignore loot crates and won’t buy them. The game can still be enjoyed, just don’t reward the predatory parts of it that ask for additional money.

Don’t buy the game.

Yeah LG didn’t stick for me, I lasted 1 hour and was completely tired of it.
