I used to love watching NASCAR as a kid and I do remember David Pearson racing the Wood Bros. Purolator Mercury. From what I recall they only raced at the superspeedways and the road courses and didn’t race at the short tracks like Bristol.

Several years ago I drove both an E30 318 and a 325, both equipped with 5 speed manuals and I must agree for some odd reason I did enjoy the 318 better even though it wasn’t that powerful.

I am surprised when a Harley rider waves at me while riding my BMW.

Would you be able to import into the US. Isn’t there a law that only allows you to import cars if they are older than 25 years?

My roommate in college had a Capri 11 with a 2.8 V6 four speed manual, he let me drive it a few times and I thought it was quick and a lot of fun to drive.

I agree. how can they possibly be proud of a victory, when they have no competition.

I went to Chile about 12 years ago, When I arrived in Santiago I had to apply for the visa, which only took a couple minutes, however I had to pay $100 usd for that. They don’t accept credit cards and at the time I could not use my ATM to take money out.

When my youngest sister when to college my parents bought her a new Honda Civic with a 5 speed manual. She was one of the few that had a car and of course often she would have a friend ask if they borrow her car to go to the store or whatever. She would tell them that it was a stick shift and of course 9 out 10 would

I was in Europe last year (Germany, Austria & Netherlands) saw a few Mustangs, not a single Camaro.

These are cars are really cool. I saw one parked in the street in Amsterdam two years ago.
