And i love that it wasn't just some fraud who took all the money and then ran away with it. He actually organized a potato salad festival, made a lot of people laugh, and helped charity quite a bit.

See, I've never been concerned with labels. If people don't consider video games art, fine. Not sports, fine. There doesn't need to be some agreed consensus about what they are or they aren't as long as you enjoy them. I find the people who insist on characterizing certain creative outputs or activities as such are

Because a lot of people did not find it boring? Plenty of people enjoyed the plot and the atmosphere. You (and others) didn't. That's okay, y'know? I don't think anybody claimed the game was a perfect fit for everybody.

I never got why this game was so acclaimed. It's not that great, as it is infamously boring and linear, and the whole feel of it was stinking of wanting to start controversy over the LGBT thing. I don't mind LGBT in games at all, I support all things LGBT, but it felt kinda... shallow in the game, and like many games

Or some terrible erotic fan fiction I hope never gets made but I'm most likely accidentally summoning into existence simply by mentioning it on the internet.

I'm actually surprised they haven't already announced free battle arena DLC.

I just wanted to nominate MC Savage. The Macho Man of Rhyming Rhythm.

Combat wasn't automated, you chose to attack or not.... which is the problem, as your hit chance was based on stats and a dice roll. As for the main quest, the TES ones are all pretty bad. At the very least, Morrowind was subtle about it. Basically, your examples are the two worst parts of the game.

The reasons why

If anyone doesn't know what BMF's talking about, enjoy! Great video and a fantastic series.

A large portion of it is because of hype. Like Apple will tell you, if you hype something up enough it'll just build higher and higher. It's like Kim Kardashian; the hype increases exponentially once you reach a certain level even if there's nothing to be hype over.

That and the fact that the PS3 finished the strongest

Oh man... "To Speak as a Dragon". One of the most involved quests after the "Hero of Maj'dul" questline that no one ever really did. I did both of them, and had a blast. I miss EQ2.

I would have love the change IN EQ1 .. if that makes any sense? I would have enjoyed all of the features they brought to EQ2 within the way EQ1 played (story-included). But you are right, EQ2 did a great job as far as making an MMO was concerned. And again what they suffered from was probably having to live up to its

EQ and EQ2 are another pair for example.

I said the same thing about AC4. I think they should've dropped the AC and just made it a cool pirate game. This game looks cool, but it doesn't seem like it should be a LOtR title. I'm with you

lol, what? Why? if it isn't like the world of the books and movies then why even make it a LOtR game, is the point they were making. Which is a fair and legit view. They aren't whining.

Wait and see, i think theyve expanded positively on the lore and the universe

Yeah, I think it should be way closer to a brighter, lighter game than what it is. Even the color pallet feels like it needs to be pulled up a couple of shades across the board.

I agree a 100% tonally it just feels completely off.

This game looks like what would happen if Zack Snyder directed LotR
