$1.1 million dollars in less than four hours. It will be funded and released

Only one winner in this show and that is SHENMUE 3!

My wife purchased me a Dreamcast after I sold mine long ago, with a copy of my favorite game, Shenmue. I have been playing games for almost 30 years and no game series has touched me or inspired me like this series. Now, with Kickstarter here, my wife comes up to me and says, “Here is $100. Happy Father’s Day.” Had my

People seem to think that if something can be abused, people won’t abuse it and that seems farcical. Say you can only return 3 games in a months period. People will do it. People have responded that Dosbox games are not worth anything to begin with, but they are and they are great games that cost as much money as many

Confused as to why you would make the 6 month comparison when you mention that it has to be within 14 days.

Is this a good thing? Absolutely. Is there ways to work around this for certain titles? Absolutely. Many of the old-school games that use DosBox can be used without running Steam, making the 2 hour limit useless.

The bad side of this may be that there will be a push to make things require Steam to be running and

Phantasy Star Online 2 is a free to play game of a similar style in Japan and it is a genuinely entertaining and engaging multiplayer game experience. If the game is a pay-to-win, then yes, it would be a problem, but there are so many games out there now that are free to play that offer a enjoyable time. Games like

It is always a worry for a multi-player focused game to vanish after time, but I do feel that with Nintendo’s current track record with Smash Bros. and Mario Kart combined with the need for a quality competitive multi-player shooter that has a very unique style and gameplay mechanic, that the odds are in their favor

Oh yeah, it was entitled, “How to Lose Fans and Alienate People.” It dealt with running their franchises into the ground and not capitalizing on previous franchises that people are excited to play, as well as getting rid of key developers and consolidating all the different teams into one.

Oh I know, which is great since a lot of people never got the opportunity to play some of these great titles tied to such a fun system, but Shenmue is a game that people have been screaming to have re-released and they do nothing. Why? I have no idea.

Just gives us Shenmue. It is honestly one of the few game series that I would purchase the re-releases for every new system. We are talking about Sega though, who wrote the book that Konami has been reading.

This is one of the big downsides of working for a big company. You have huge turnaround for teams as people are constantly moving in and out in a large revolving door for projects and parts of projects so no core team can exist for long periods of times. This affects the big name creators as well as they can’t keep

You can never go wrong by making the mountains quote the Rock Biter from the Neverending Story.

Kickstarter continuously proves that people want the types of games that are not being made anymore. Adventure games, Banjo-Kazooie style games, classic Mega Man Style games and so much more! I wonder at what point do people get the point and work more grass roots with the players and make games that we want to see.

It is definitely one of them. My wife’s favorite track is Moo Moo Meadows and 200CC actually adds more fun to it. Other tracks, like Yoshi Circuit, make it nigh impossible.

Naaaahhhh, the desert levels are great! I also found that some levels, like Toad’s Turnpike work incredibly well in 200CC while I found that track in particular somewhat dull in the slower CCs.

Completely unrelated note. Just enthusing about the new DLC courses, Baby Park was a track that I despised on the Gamecube. I

I honestly wouldn’t put much credence in the, “Best Mario Kart 8 Tracks,” list, because, in all honesty, the weaker tracks are really solid and the majority are honestly some of the best for the series. There is no real, “bad,” track.

My worst experience was on steam. I was contacted by someone interested in trading team fortress 2 items. He was offering an unfair deal and, because I declinwd, they responded with, “You don’t want to mess with me. I can find where you live.” All over a couple name tags on tf2.

The thing is, F-Zero doesn’t sell, it never has. Is it worth putting down the cost to make detailed tracks and courses and challenging gameplay, slap the F-Zero name on it and have it sell 1/100th what Mario Kart does? Sure F-zero games are awesome and are fun to play, but it doesn’t change the fact that of all the

I am going to mimic a large group of people’s support in this decision. There is an enormous amount of toxicity on the internet and in on-line gaming culture. It has reached a breaking point where developers are starting to honestly consider removing it and are also doling out harsh punishments for abusive behavior,
