Oh absolutely! I couldn't agree with you more! I wasn't really implying that Nintendo invented the idea, but that Nintendo has always been that sort of detail oriented, much like how the world and environment of Shadow of the Colossus was detail oriented (a game I adore as well!).

The details are what interested me the most. When they showcased how the horse naturally avoided obstacles, I instantly thought to myself, "That is Nintendo." They develop games in a way where you feel there is a natural flow to them. Characters and enemies move in a way that is consistent with the world.

What I am

Being a long time Sierra fan starting in the mid 80's, I feel very optimistic about the new King's Quest. The trailer showed a lot of content that was from the original King's Quest and you could tell they were paying homage to the spirit of Roberta Williams' storytelling. It will be an adventure game still, but not

I have found that Goat Simulator is the perfect example of satire in games being done right. Many of the Simulator games out there seem like pathetic cash grabs in the name of satire, with their fun quickly running out. I feel that what Goat Simulator provides may be simplistic in nature, but has all the right

Score one for rational discourse on the internet!

A lot of problems can also be solved in games with design choices. It is difficult sometimes for players to recognize the options given to them. A great example of this is in Mirror's Edge. Color played a huge role in the them of the game and allowed players to

Oh I won't argue that some games truly do benefit from a very sandbox environment and I wasn't going as far to say that Assassin's Creed should not be a sandbox style game. Instead, I mean that Assassin's Creed, as it is right now is not conducive to the Sandbox style.

By Customization, I mean buying skills and

This game feels like another reason as to why, "sandbox," gameplay can really dampen level design. When you offer people the choice of abilities and movesets, you limit what you can and can not do in the level design. "We can't include these types of features, because some players may not have chosen that skillset."

I

People need to understand that the remakes are not even made by Nintendo. They are worked on by a studio named Grezzo, who did the ocharina of time 3DS and Four Swords Adventures on the 3DS. I could understand people being frustrated if Nintendo had their top guys on a re-release, but that is simply not the case.

We

The title actually does worry me much like it does for you. I am going to give them the benefit of the doubt as there are ways to make the Jedi a central focus and not completely fuck it up. It may be about Luke rebuilding the Jedi like in the expanded universe or something and could be a good thing if they just stop

That is very very true. In my life, I've come across a multitude of people that dislike something... in this instance, let's say the film, Citizen Kane. Some people I know found the film dull and boring and therefor overrated and stupid and those that enjoyed it were also stupid.

What they failed to grasp was context

I adored the game, even though the animations and small lip synching glitches are really the only downside to the game, but absolutely not deal breaking. I view the first part the first few chapters of a book. It is getting you up to speed on what has happened, introducing new characters and setting up the situations

It will be available soon and is something they are working on. They wanted to have the game out I guess to meet the deadline and will recap soon.

Game doesn't even get a Wii U release.

I am somewhat confused by this statement, as the majority of these games were shown as playable at E3, with the exception being the Yoshi, Kirby and Zelda title.

I wonder how many people will buy Peach just to look up her skirt?

I salute you and everyone involved in this conversation who keep it civil, including the original commenter. Let's keep some positivity alive here.

Crazy Question. Do people feel that it cheapens the Mario Kart franchise to have other Nintendo Franchise characters in it? Do you feel we need to incorporate more Nintendo Franchises into the Mario games like Mario Party, Mario Golf etc.? I think it would be an awesome change of pace. The more the merrier. I mean,

As a rule, Virtua Fighter contains about as much plot as, say, Virtua Tennis. Still, the series ensures we know who has won each tournament in updated character bios in each subsequent entry.

Depends on the price, but looking at how they have priced everything, I guess it would be ok. I just...really..really want me some battle arenas.

The only DLC that I would be upset if they charged for would be... battle arenas. They dropped the ball there and I would love to see them release some arena packs for free to say they are sorry. Outside of that, you definitely get your bang for your buck with the stuff they are offering. The characters and cars are
