Have we seriously seen Buckle in the last 6 or 7 seasons?  He’s do for some usage again.  Killing off a 100 bit characters in season 6 did narrow their ability to add to the group in some ways...still, Episode 200 of the trio (since that was episode 100) is the best of the 00's.  300 is actually the weakest...very in

Is it? That’s kind of the downfall of FG was that Quahog is Providence (down to the fact that you can literally stand on what is effectively Spooner street). So it’s a city of 300-500K residents. Springfield oscillates from a town of like 500 people (given that they apparently have 1 elementary school with something

Changing of the guard, no show is meant to last 300 episodes in this tight a format. I mean, the 25 who did only 7 of them had the same basic cast and of that, now 3 (Simpsons, FG, AD!) are scripted animated shows that are basically uncancellable due to their connections to Fox/TBS.

The list is actually fascinating to

4 Mil subscribers is less than a number of dedicated streaming services had that collapsed. I really do not get why they’re not doing a Hulu/+ model where making it free to watch with commercials (they’re fundamental wheelhouse) would get more viewers. I mean, Discovery is powering along well enough they’re bringing

Woof....I never knew that about Bradbury but again, I never delved that deeply into his personal life. I mean, when I took the time in my teens/early-college years all I found was a weird white guy who was off-kilter his entire life and possibly on the spectrum. It’s not a pass for his sexism or anything, it’s just a

You’re literally commenting on a site where people build their personality around loving Harry Potter. I mean, I will defend you on this: I think you have a solid point, I think people who eat/sleep/breath Star Wars/Harry Potter/Pop Culture Universes are not leading the healthiest life, period.

No, I would argue this:

Let’s also be honest here:  Lean production has meant that small production snags become near insurmountable problems.  Basically they’ve got no contingency plan for that 5% chance of things going wrong and figure that people can and will just accept that.  In the case of cars that’s not really an issue, having a

That is a non-sequitur to my point.

In some respect the show was an ensemble cast, yes, Will Smith was the centerpiece but basically the female cast was: non-existent black mom figure, vapid airhead sister, smart precocious sister who slowly evolved into a brat, and random GF of the week alternating between mostly black but the occasional white woman.

That’s where I’m at.  Cosby the ideal vs. the man are just too hard to separate and all the good he did was undone by his own evil. :(

It’s only not worth watching if you don’t want to deal with season 8 probably never coming. They actually do a ton to address the things that had been lingering since the first few seasons and reliably wrap up a ton of great story lines in a healthy way. Really, given how the show went, I may end up buying the DVDs

I genuinely wonder if it had to do with their contracts. I suspect that the two of them have a better than average return on reruns because you’re right, the venture bros just COMPLETELY vanished from the AS rotation for years at a time, especially when they had 2-3 seasons and would often go on in the later slots

I actually like R&M, I just don’t think they’re nearly as intelligent as people insist they are...

Because Adult Swim would play around with funding and wait 6 months for renewals. It wasn’t their intent, in fact they repeatedly stated in this time frame they had hoped to put out almost a season a year or a little over, maybe every 1.5 years because they openly stated it was funding and not their ideas that slowed

You do sound like an obnoxious neckbeard. R&M really isn’t that smart, seriously, it isn’t. The flashes of brilliance between seasons 1-3 were flashes. It isn’t that deep. Stop trying to insist there is a Marianas trench of depth there, it’s not a puddle either....but yeah, R&M is about the same depth as Venture Bros.

Dredd started out as a satire of over-masculine thatcher-era police state support. In the 1990s he turned into the ideal of what actual justice could/should be.  Dredd is the guy who would support BLM, he supports an absolute level of justice that makes his latter identity completely in line with that.

Pretty much. The difference between people just breaking 6-figure incomes and the people with 7-8 figure bank statements is dramatic. I just barely break 6-figures but I grew up just above abject poverty because my parents landed decent if still low paying government jobs. The people I occasionally run into at various

I so badly need a Herman Cain / Crimson Ghost mashup shirt right now....Something along the lines of ‘Don’t Die Die My Darling’

There is a significant and strong belief that most of the USSR’s actual nuclear arsenal was dismantled/never existed/fell into such decrepitude that while technically still a bomb couldn’t have reached the US. Without the SALT treaties to prohibit him from redeveloping new weapons Putin went on the offensive to
