This makes the world a better place. Thank you Adult Swim. That is all.

Merrill is so awesome from the Tune-Yards and really deserves more attention. This is a hilarious takedown of the overt pretentiousness of modern music but it still takes some obvious shots at some obvious targets. Nice to see Merrill get a solid hit in about 'being a girl so I'm just mostly AaaaAAAAhhhhhhhhHHHH!'

HAHA! That was good. It's also so true, he seems like the kind of guy I would give money to just for him to star in something.

Bruce Willis in Sin City as Hartigan could easily have been aged Punisher. But I respectfully disagree.

He had a real talent for playing likable guys in decent films (see mummy trilogy) and then he just sort of died off as a bankable actor.

Jeff Goldblum in the fly was more or less it….Just you know instead of stretching he turned into a disgusting fly creature.

Jim Carrey makes that movie watchable by himself…and it's kind of shows as he's featured way more than Batman.

I'm forever and a day a Nicholson. I think Ledger did fine but his interpretation of the Joker is sufficient for I guess just feel like not-a-real-batman-batman-film series now. Christian Bale kind of ruined batman in those films inadvertently….

That alone is justification in my mind, even if he only did a quick 3 picture deal which should be the standard contract now. Every new bond gets 3 to do a cool trilogy and then MAYBE if they're super cool get to do a 4th standalone pic.

. . .That man was the punisher. :O

You know out there in the world there is somebody branded with the batman signal/logo. YOU KNOW IT TO BE TRUE!

I'm doing it….just give in. >:D

By a damn year….Let's not be too harsh. Ford was playing Indiana Jones through his 40s into his 50s for a man who was supposed to be a decade younger.

I think Alec Baldwin was in talks for it at some point….He would have definitely been a solid replacement for Keaton, both of them have that mild menace to their Bruce's that really sell it.

Ouch. I think Ray Stevens played an amazing Punisher but I felt his movie went too far down the comic book hole and ended up losing much of a plot for it while Thomas Jane's was too much plot and trying too hard for a PG/13 rating. Willis' would ideally hit the magic Lethal Weapon-R.

Was it that bad? I may go see it tomorrow afternoon…

I would welcome that sexy beast to the role. He's got a good atmosphere but I'm not sure if I want him to play the debonair character, he actually does play a better working class hero type in Luther than we understand as Americans.

Touche'

Everybody has some truly brilliant choices and I've sat here for a while racking my brain for something worthy of the discussion but my only really worthwhile pick would be to cast Bruce Willis when he gave a fuck (i.e. somewhere around Die Hard/Die Hard II/Striking Distance) as the Punisher. Could you not see him

It's not as simple as declaring Mexico a failed state. I mean, objectively I agree with your assessment but your policy decision is my opposition.
