You know... actually that would be an interesting (ok it would still be dumb) concept. You buy a stake to own various dishes served and in theory get a cut of every sale with you basically funding the cost for the duration of it’s presence.

Ah, granted here most of the places (including OC) send food waste to digestors to be made into fuel so it’s not totally wasted.

I never thought to try picking a real lock, bit I do agree that Oblivion had really good implementation of the idea. I dare say the best in games.
