I’m paying for my son’s college tuition, room & board, car & car insurance and health insurance. Why should I need to pay for TWO accounts while he is away at college? He’s part of my family.
That would depend on where you live.
When every studio and publisher has created their own platform and we’re expected to buy a subscription to all of them? Yes.
Dick Grayson has already had two movies and a live action TV show (since they haven’t been mentioned anywhere, I’m guessing it’s RIP Titans and Young Justice).
I suspect they will get around to finding a new Flash pretty quickly after the Flash movie comes out, unless it’s such an incredibly big hit that they feel they have to stick with him. It’s less about Miller being an indispensable actor as it is his movie being a sunk cost.
James Gunn: “Everything from the old DCEU is gone forever!”
Everything in the Ezra Miller section reads to me like they’re not going to be saying that they’re firing Miller while in recovery, but that conversation will be had at a later date and Miller will not be in the future plans.
Maybe it’s the too-much-makeup-&-goofy-poses pics I always see of Ezra Miller, but man. I just can’t believe that’s the person they need to be The Flash. He was fine in that Justice League movie (which was, you know, kinda awful) but — how could that be the ONLY actor they could think of for the role?
They really need a fresh start, with the major characters.
This would have been a great slideshow.
I’m pretty sure their argument is exactly the reason why people don’t want Microsoft taking over more of the videogame market. Because everything original they’ve attempted sucks. And everything that was good they’ve purchased they’ve driven into the ground with bullshit and microtransactions.
I think if Levi came out with actual anti-vax views, that’d be one thing.
Being anti-vax is unforgivable in my view. It is effectively anti-modernity and shows you really do not want to be part of our culture. It also guarantees a huge level of hypocrisy, since invariably you completely depend the advantages that modern life gives you (like being able to post your idiotic ideas on the World…
Is it really controversial for him to have opinions that are shared by a fairly sizeable portion of America?
To be fair, she’s tremendously talented, and he’s Zachary Levi.
Yeah, they confirmed on the podcast that while they left it intentionally vague, it was supposed to be ALS or something similar.
This was my interpretation as well — Frank is suffering from a terminal disease that had no effective treatments in 2003, when modern medicine collapsed. The line about “we didn’t know how to treat it even before the world went to shit” suggests that it’s not cancer, because we had treatments for most cancers in 2003.
$5 gets you the best series TV has to offer. Severance, Bad Sisters, and Ted Lasso are all amazing. Slow Horses is great, but just short of the peak.
The show’s first season was quite good, and I suspect the second will be as well. I would say it’s well worth dropping $5 for a month of Apple TV+ so that you can watch both seasons.
