I think Feige has largely proven that the level of recognition in the comic world isn’t a big deal when they apply their MCU formula to the property.

Sam Rockwell is apparently returning in the War Machine/Armor Wars series, so you have that to look forward to.

that has not stopped the MCU before (just ask all 5 people who had actually read Guardians of the Galaxy before the movie was announced.)

Trevor Slattery is the gem at the heart of Iron Man 3. Such a funny misdirect by Shane Black, I hope he gets more than a 3 second cameo.  Shang Chi is slowly shaping up to be the best Marvel movie of this crop.

Trevor Slattery in Shang Chi?!?!? Is this going to be a direct sequel to “All Hail the King”??? Go ahead and throw in some cultural appropriation and flog him for it just to boot, I’m all in on this!

Mixed feelings for me. Hearing the Avengers theme and seeing the shield got me in the feels, but then his cameo really got me laughing.

Me too. From laughter. That was wonderful.

Two things, I’m stoked for whatever they do with his movie.

Halloween should finally end with Michael Myers being trapped in some kind of industrial press. They smash him into a diamond and everyone thinks it’s over. But, someone takes the Myers diamond and makes it into a ring. Now, everyone who wears the ring kills people like Michael Myers.

The last 18 months have been absolutely brutal for events companies like Reedpop. Lots of them went out of business. My guess is they need the money.

One could, of course, question why ReedPop is choosing to hold Supercon in Florida at all, given that the conditions are undoubtedly dangerous and they are being prevented from taking appropriate precautions by a hostile government.
