The Amazon's Purple Ray is sitting right there.
If they would just bring back Donna Troy through some silly plot device I would forgive all the sins of last season.
Spoilers possibly? But the current theory is they’re forming like a multiversal Avengers team based on the poster and one of the trailers.
I really enjoyed his performance and can’t wait to see him in Quantumania!
Not many actors can just show up in a season finale as a previously unknown character, and just monologue for a majority of their time, and have it be captivating. I thought Jonathan Major was very good in Lovecraft Country, but his ability to carry the material here deeply impressed me. And everything he did from the…
I agree that it’s odd, but I haven’t been let down by James Gunn yet so I’m willing to give Peace(maker) a chance :)
It’s so weird, and I can’t get a handle on it. Feels unprecedented, and seems (over)confident to assume Peacemaker is going to be people’s MVP from Suicide Squad.
It’s weird for me to imagine that someone made a movie with a character (Peacemaker), loved the character so much that he made a spin off show about him, and finished filming the show before the movie he debuts in has come out. I mean, Covid delays and whatnot, but still.
Red Guardian had screen time?
Sorry, he was just one of my favorite parts of the movie and I feel like he did nothing of note. One abbreviated fight scene with Taskmaster and that’s it. He could have had zero super juice and I wouldn’t have even known.
I wish they had used her more. Doesn't have to fleshed out character stuff, but a little more of TM chasing the Widows. I was getting some Terminator vibes and then they went away too quick.
I was perfectly happy with Taskmaster in this film. She served her role and she served it well. It doesn’t bother me in the least or detract from the movie as a whole that the character wasn’t deeply explored. The movie wasn’t about Taskmaster. It wasn’t about Natasha’s battle against Taskmaster.
It’s only dubstep.
This one ?
Someone’s mom wouldn’t buy him He-Man toys as a kid, huh?
Wooooooooow. There is something going on here under the surface, but I do not care enough to inquire further...
Her shudder/self-loathing for it had us in stitches
Every morning I roll out of bed and land in the three-point pose, and turn my head up to focus on the toilet. Then I kick-spring off the bedroom door frame, barrel-roll over the dog in the hallway, and then back-flip kick up the toilet seat so I can pee. I suppose if I was a woman I would sit, but there’s nothing like…
In that context, I find it interesting that Natasha’s hero landings are characterized in this article as “sexy”, but Iron Man’s are not. The sexism extends well past the screen, unfortunately.
Aw, you guys didn’t even mention how Yelena even tried out Natasha’s pose herself while on mission?! that was one of the funniest parts!
