Yes, Pennyworth came out last year but as it’s on Epix, I don’t think many people know where to watch it. I’ve seen a few episodes and outside of the actor doing a young Michael Caine impression, it’s not bad.

EDIT:  I wonder if I’ll ever get out of the greys?

The show will explain this since they have John Walker using Cap’s shield. I’m sure the story will make sense when we see it.

You sure about that, j-mack?  You’re not looking very grey to me right now.  Congrats.

Thank you for saying this.  Not paying full attention to a show like “Dark” diminishes the experience.  I get the appeal of multitasking (putting on season 6 or 7 of The Walking Dead while doing laundry) but a show like Dark needs your full attention. I wince at their voice over track for English so subtitles are the

South African slang.  I expect to hear Sharlto Copley say this but not Cillian Murphy.

I didn’t hate it but I do wish that the writers hadn’t borrowed so heavily from the Mass Effect trilogy when crafting their story.  As a result I was able to predict everything that was going to happen before the final episodes.

Today, still wanted by the Empire, they survive as soldiers of fortune. If you have a problem... if no one else can help... and if you can find them... maybe you can hire... The Bad Batch.

Came here for the Animatrix reference and was not disappointed.  Thank you.

Thank you for that podcast, link!  Found the episodes you’re talking about.

YES!  Exactly!  I thought he was playing the one time period character and the other time period and I was shocked that I was wrong. Kudos to the showrunners and their casting!

YES!  That threw me off with Ulrich!  I totally thought he was playing two different time period versions of himself. I was WRONG!!!

Hmm, no. Eobard Thawne’s true face was shown in season 1's flashback to his arrival in the current timeline and then again for the season 1 finale. No recasting there. Why they used him for the future Thawne with Harrison Wells’ face last season I never quite understood. Then again, Thawne somehow never *truly* dies

Rogue was better than Unity, and tied in beautifully with AC III and Black Flag, and I thoroughly enjoyed Syndicate. That said, I miss the sci-fi framing elements from the Ezio/Desmond era of the games.

^^^^^^THIS 100%. I saw Eneloop batteries mentioned a few years ago on Reddit and they’re awesome! I saved so money by buying rechargeable AA batteries once and never buying disposable ones for my XBox One ever again!

No surprises there since Nolan created Person of Interest and this version of Westworld with Lisa Joy. If you’re gonna borrow an idea from yourself, PoI is not a bad place to lift from.

Yes, somewhat.  They went after Take Two Interactive for their inclusion in Red Dead Redemption 2 but, oddly, didn’t pursue Irrational Games for their inclusion in Bioshock Infinite.

Ah, gotcha. My apologies.

Not to nitpick but Henry Zaga is also Brazilian. That said, yeah, I am bugged that they didn’t get a darker skinned Brazilian actor for the role to make it more comics accurate. I feel like Roberto shouldn’t be whitewashed like this.

This is the Way.
