Fair point but I wasn’t excluding them. Neither Hawk was charismatic or worthy of the attention that they got which, along with Vandal Savage being the only main villain, hurt the first season.

YES! Cavill when he’s allowed to play someone normal with a personality is a wonderful actor. He was fantastic as Napoleon Solo and I do hope that he, Hammer and Vikander get the opportunity to return in a Man from U.N.C.L.E. sequel someday.
An original era Mission: Impossible would be great to see. Or a spin-off…
Maybe I’m slightly bitter because I watched the original M:I TV series in repeats as kid, plus the 90's reboot, but none of the films have been a true Mission: Impossible series because the first film turned the TV series lead into the Big Bad. Starting with MI3 the film series started to get good.
I was getting a very strong, very Tom Holland channeling David Tennant as the 10th Doctor before his regeneration vibe from that scene. And, dammit, it worked.
Earth-X version so that’s 3 versions of Laurel that Katie’s working. Not bad. Still PO’d at Guggenheim for offing her in season 4.

I think that was the film maker’s intent. That X-24 is basically Sabretooth from Origins in appearance but it’s actually Hugh Jackman. It threw me when I first saw him up on screen but I appreciated that.
I mostly remember Whitta from his time as EIC of PC Gamer. He’s had quite the awesome career. :-)

OMG. I’d seen some other tweets of his that made me question him as a writer but those two links you shared cast a bright spotlight on how awful of a human being he is. He needs to be removed from the writing staff ASAP.

I caught that and yes she actually did shoot someone point blank in the face. It was all very John Wick and by that I mean GOOD.
