Probably referring to Star Trek which was pitched as "Wagon Train to the Stars" back in the 1960's. I highly doubt that Gnarkiller is referring to Firefly. ;-)

HA! +1

Correct. If Fox would just be reasonable, say "no" to making tons of money from the X-Men franchise and just let their rights revert back to Marvel Studios we would be fine. But, no, they want to keep profiting. Damn them.

Oh, I have. I've seen most of, if not all, of the episodes on Cartoon Network. I just ordered the box set to fill in the gaps in my viewing like Starcrossed from season 2 and a handful of others. Seeing Rosenbaum as Wally West stuck in Lex Luthor's body was AWESOME.

Um, also the fact that the FF film franchise is dead right now over at Fox. They're trying to reboot it. Anyhow, FF is still with Sony and X-Men are still with Fox so don't expect to see any of those property's characters in the shared Marvel Cinematic Universe (Iron Man, Hulk, Thor, Captain America, The Avengers).

The problem with Norton is that, despite the fact that he's a fantastic actor, he likes to meddle too much with a film's script and, in some cases, the editing (American History X). I think Tony Stark's line about "not playing well with others" *could* have been a dig at Edward Norton or just a typical RDJ/Tony Stark

Yeah, I got really pissed off about that. Initially supernatural detective fiction with a *strong* horror element and then it just turned into porn after book 7 or book 8. Anita Blake started out unlikable enough as it is but once the series shifted gears in that direction I had to stop reading.

Agreed. I'm making my way through the Justice League Unlimited box set and every time he's featured I keep thinking how perfect he'd be for the live action version of Wally West.

Among many other reasons, yes. They talk about his father and what happened but then let it drop. I had such high hopes for the GL movie that I walked out disappointed when it was over because they allowed *that* script to be committed to film. :/

Unlikely. Or, if they do appear, they'll be referred to as metahumans, superhumans, or some other description. "Mutants" are off limits so long as Fox has the movie making rights to the X-Men and their characters.

True. I've read some of the EU for Star Wars and those are canon. Or, at least, some of them *were* canon until George Lucas decided to invalidate a whole bunch of stuff, via the Clone Wars series, which lead to one of his authors quitting a book series that she'd been writing for him. I'm guessing the same applies

Oh, well played. Very well played.

Best comment ever!

Barrowman's in the show. Recurring but for the whole season. I'm guessing this is reason enough? And I say this as a Doctor Who and Torchwood fan.

Agreed on both Nazneed and Nana. Ditto on how they came about.

LOL! Good one. Did you see her on "24?"

Thank you! I was hoping someone else would point that out before the inevitable Abrams' bashing began.

I think he was already in shape to start. He used to be a spin instructor before acting but the parkour skills and martial arts are taught to him by the show's stunt team.

Close. Metropolis-based.
