CSI: Miami references never get old. Loved Sam's take on them on Burn Notice but love seeing them here on Kotaku even more. :-)

I tried to summarize it myself but failed miserably. That said, it's better if you read Shia LaBeouf's explanation instead:
Hard to believe that's Rachel Nichols and Rose McGowan in those pictures. Barely recognizable.
As a life long Cyclops fan, thank you for this. That has to be one of the most thoughtful and well put together defenses for a character that many people seem to like dumping on.
They're only funny if they're not maiming you like that poor woman a few years ago.
Exactly why I stopped reading. I got as far as book 14, which is 4 too many, and just flat out quit. What had been a pretty decent horror/mystery/thriller series with a sometimes-likeable heroine turned into poorly written erotica series with a truly unlikeable heroine.
Ditto!!! Too many clips were released before X2 came out and that sort of ruined the movie for me. Still LOVED it but there weren't too many surprises left after those clips. Lesson learned so I'm not watching any more of these until after the release date.

The show is pretty damn addicting. I read all of the books first before ever watching the show so it took some getting used to. I can't stand Anna Paquin as Sookie and think she's horribly miscast. Everyone else, though, seems to knock it out of the park in terms of casting, acting and character development. It's…
ShubNecktie, I read the same era and quit/gave up on Marvel in 1995. I only know about this new Angel from Googling since I had no idea who she was either.
I agree. I remember reading that John C. Reilly was up for the role and I thought he was near dream casting for it. Woody, though? Not sure.
Ahh, you're right! Hank McCoy appears briefly on television in X-Men 2 and he's not blue and furry! Totally forgot about that!
I can't believe someone's promoting the idea of reading fanfiction on io9. Not gonna happen.
Umm, you *do* know that's a new character created in the past 10 years and isn't a female version of Warren Worthington III, right?
Yes, so far the share link isn't working for me either. It'll reference a generic i09.com page but not the specific article.
@EdificeComplex: Last we saw of John Gilbert was Stefan cutting his wrist and threatening to make John drink his blood to become a vamp if he didn't GTFO of Mystic Falls. Why Stefan would bring him back is a mystery.
@nbd9000: Script has been written and turned in to the movie studio. Article talking about it is on Empire Online's site.
