@djdare: Aside from the obvious solution of charge the thing, what about setting Tasker to turn off the radios and trigger Advanced Task Killer and close all apps with the alarm app set as an exception in ATK? You can basically schedule it for sometime after your normal bedtime, like 3 AM or something.
