@Felix26591: I agree. It doesn't look nearly long enough. My LH RSS feed is over twice that long in Firefox. It's better than the current implementation, I guess.

@TheFu: And if you use NoScript to block it, you can just selectively allow scripts based on domain. It's not an "all or nothing" proposition.
@thorax232: There's one built into the command line actually, at least a partial one. It's not for BSOD codes but it's helpful for troubleshooting userenv logs anyway.
@BangBang: I think the author should have just used a photo of Congress (or Parliament, if you like) in session.
@Attmay: I'd rather have the option to control the mouse/kb (for more complex fixes) and choose not to use it, than get frustrated. You can still show them what you're doing while controlling the input devices.
@w0w223: LastPass doesn't store data locally, IIRC. It's all online, using host-proof hosting and it also supports two-factor.
VOTE: LastPass
@gMan: Uhh, isn't that up to Comedy Central here?
@Firesphere: That is a sure sign that you are not getting enough beer. Take 2 Hefeweizens and call me in the morning. Glad I could intervene before this got serious.
@Posco Grubb: Ahh, that makes sense now.
@acidrain69: Nice backpedal. The phrase "disable Hibernation mode" or a variant is in the LH article at least twice. The intention is that you follow the link if you don't know how, so they aren't just reproducing the entire the guide here. Just sayin...
@Phoshi: The article specified "delete to Recycle Bin", which clearly this "oik" didn't otherwise you would've just restored the bin, right? So yes, it restores from a regular delete. I just tested it. If you use shift+delete, yes you're pretty much boned.
@Darius_Roberti: Defragging /= deleting your "hidden" video collection.
@Risky: No it doesn't. Follow it back.
@farcedude: I do exactly this, but for somewhat obscure movie quotes, making sure to use at least 8 characters incl. caps, numbers, and/or special characters. I rock at remembering quotes and I could always look it up as long as I remember which movie I'm currently using.
@Cordelya: "I like the Admin account idea. That would work great if they didn't live an hour away. I'm not driving there every time they want to install something! I'd do it if they lived down the street."
@neowisper001: It can, but you have to reboot 3 times.
@luckycharms: Maybe somewhere in the middle.
@matthewabel: Guess you didn't read the comments? ;)
@Lorin Richman: So, in other words "you get what you pay for"? I will give you $5 for more sage knowledge like this. ;)
