A manual with a good clutch is never torture. My Juke, surprisingly, has one of the best clutches I’ve ever used. If I could make the car last forever I would. I don’t ever find it burdensome or laborious and I have an arthritic left knee.
I find it less stressful to drive a manual in traffic, as I know what the transmission is going to do, given I’m the one moving the gears around. Most of the updated EV credit regulations don’t kick in until January 1 of next year, including the MSRP cap, but the Made In North America requirement kicks in immediately. These are eligible through the end of the year, after which more restrictions kick in.
