Can you provide any evidence of this claim?

I’m waiting to find out that the driver is now suing Honda because they couldn’t figure out the shifter.

Anecdotal, to be fair, but I have a buddy with one. It has been a complete nightmare to own and was frequently out of service due to numerous electrical and drivetrain issues while under warranty. It is now out of warranty and sitting in his driveway with a failed transmission. It’s replacement is a 2017 Mazda 3 which

Honestly, there’s a part of me that doesn’t think it would be the worst thing if a lot of Americans quit “driving” their cars. A terrifying number of them are already very bad at it, or simply can’t be bothered to try, preferring instead to stare at a screen while behind the wheel of a 2 ton lump of death hurtling

100% this. I shouldn’t have to work to give someone my business. They should be working to earn my business, dammit.

So we’re blaming the EPA because people are still breaking emissions laws? That doesn’t make any sense at all. Look, I would agree that blame for taking so long to catch the cheaters can be laid at the feet of the organization, but blaming the organization for the cheating itself is absurd. That would be like blaming

“the main appeal of riding a motorcycle is feeling and hearing the engine”

I was thinking exactly the same thing while reading through those. There are a few that are motorcycle-specific, but most of that stuff just applies to any inattentive mouth-breather too busy with their glowing screen to pay attention to their 3500 lb. death machine.

Yeah, I’m not sure what you’ve cross-shopped, but the current model 3 is a blast compared to others in its class. We got my wife one and I loved it so much I got my own. Other compacts in that price range are just...blah.

You may have described the reason some young people don’t ride a Harley, not a motorcycle, more generally. I’m just on the edge of the millenial group at 35 years old. I own three motorcycles and commute to work. I would never own a Harley for a lot of reasons, but the age of those riding such a bike is waaaay down

Car and Driver actually had a good article about the whole “unintended acceleration” BS as it pertains to claims against Toyota. If memory serves, the vast majority were the result of drivers hitting the wrong pedal. People just started blaming Toyota when they didn’t know how to operate their own vehicle.

Any positive comment containing the letters “CRX” will always receive a star from me.

“alt-left” is not a thing

People like this need to stop buying cars. Cars are meant to be driven. If you want to collect something, try stamps or glass figurines, maybe dabble in the stock market. All they did is take a perfectly good car and put it in prison for nearly two and a half decades. What a waste.

I got a fair number of good miles out of my trusty 2006 xA. They really screwed up the target demo, though. The only thing remotely exciting to young people was the tc, and that definitely wasn’t going to keep the brand afloat all on its own. They were good cars, but the brand was a pretty obvious failure.

This was massively stupid on the part of the motorcyclist. He endangered himself and others after he already knew he had the plate of the car. What the hell was he trying to accomplish? Let the cops do their job. They have better resources, training (hopefully), and the legal right to carry out the chase. Also, his

Please go away.

I was about to inquire after the fashion police sentence for his crime against decency with that outfit. I’m no snappy dresser, but I know ugly when I see it.

Avid motorcyclist here

I want to create more accounts to give you more stars. My wife and I find this infuriating. I don’t want to guess whether that stupid Buick is backing up or the driver just hopped out to run into the store, just use the reverse lights the same way everyone else does WHEN THE VEHICLE IS ACTUALLY IN REVERSE
