I love that Yaccarino’s tweet got mercilessly roasted from both sides last night.

It's pronounced "Ezras Miller"
You can dissect and defend the MCU TV shows all you want, but I will NOT stand idly by as you speak well of something said by Sam Barsanti.
Only focusing on character traits that advance the plot is how idiots have spent decades turning good Stephen King books into shitty movies.
Thank god you’re here to set everyone straight.
It’s not about whether you’re trying to be funny. It’s about whether you’re being an asshole while trying to be funny.
Imagine your boss saying that to you. Seriously, think about being at work and hearing that, especially if it happened in front of co-workers. Now imagine both not respecting your boss AND also being aware that they could have you fired on a whim, meaning that even reacting negatively to being mocked could mean losing…
One of the first rules of being funny is "know the room." Yes, we all know people (and sometimes co-workers) who can handle these kinds of jokes and attitudes, but it doesn't mean that everyone should be subjected to them.
It took me a long time, but eventually I learned that talking like "the funny one" on a sitcom is not an appropriate way to behave in real life, and especially not in the workplace.
We’re talking about NASA, not Dave Matthews.
Since the trailer focuses on the line “all of us with wings,” I’m willing to bet half of my 401k contribution in 2023 that there’s a scene in which everyone on-screen has wings while this song plays.
History of the World Part I
So much of life is shades of grey, but I have lived with two ironclad rules for the past 20+ years that have never let me down:
At least one scene promises to show us what Zack Snyder would have done with How To Train Your Dragon.
To paraphrase (I think) Sotomayor, saying we need to dial back airport security because no plane-based terrorist attacks have happened is like saying we should put away our umbrella when it’s raining because we’re not getting wet. As others have pointed out, TSA processes - while sometimes unnecessarily cumbersome -…
“He’s a visually interesting filmmaker whose storytelling style is stilted and divisive, but who treats his cast and crew with extreme respect and is well-liked by people in the industry.”
I’d argue that none of his personality should shield Snyder or his art from criticism. Supposedly John Travolta is a really nice…
“The site still notes that using Blue features could still identify you as a paid subscriber and that some features may not be available at all while the mark is hidden.”
So... you can hide the checkmark, but either the priority it affords you will out you as a paid subscriber anyway, OR in some cases hiding the…
Kinnison is a great example of a comedian who could deliver a strong five or ten minutes on Letterman (or that Rodney Dangerfield HBO special from the 80s,) but whose style and/or depth of material didn't support an hourlong set.
To paraphrase Chris Sims: call me crazy, but in a movie where Wolverine travels to Japan and meets a villain who employs a bunch of ninjas, I really expected a lot more scenes of Wolverine fighting ninjas. Like, at least more than one.
I recently went to a wedding that was frighteningly similar to this.
