Huh... Know what will get me to buy this game? Put the original game (NES graphics, NES music, NES gameplay, NOT THE ARCADE VERSION THAT NO ONE CARES ABOUT) in with the download. Then I'll buy this game, do whatever it takes to unlock the old game, and promptly forget this.
@countingdown7: I've played a number of first person horror games. FEAR, Bioshock, Condemned, Jericho, and I'm sure I'm missing something or another. I've also played all of the Silent Hill games except the PS3 / 360 one. If it's first person, it won't be Silent Hill.
As long as they don't pull a HL2 and make it so you never see your own face... In fact, nevermind, just don't make it First Person... That's retarded. It really adds nothing.
@VincentGrey: You do know that just because possible spoilers are going to be discussed, that doesn't mean you're free to not say "(game) spoiler" when you do it, right? Should I just go through a list of games I can spoil and see if there's one you haven't played?
@2NinjasTapedTogether: I can handle it occasionally, but I usually prefer healthier cereal. For the taste, actually.
The term art is too ill-defined and plagued by elitism to be worth the breath that goes into saying it. Rather than asking if games can be art, ask if they can have compelling stories. The idea they can't is at the core of Roger Ebert's argument, and the reasoning behind it is faulty.
@chrollo0427: It has to do with baseball. You must be new here.
@MidnightMarvel: Didn't Ghost Rider win a razzie? Taste is subjective.
@Veit: I like Family Man, even if it is depressing as hell... A reverse "It's a wonderful life"
@2NinjasTapedTogether: In keeping with your analogy, I prefer bran and other simple cereals to sugary cereals 4/5 of the time.
Been on UT3 all day. Trying to find mods on places other than [UT3mod.com] because that place is pretty much dead. I found a forum with lots of mods, but no real organization... Found the PS3 build for Invasion and had fun fighting slimes and phoenixes and skeletons and flaming skulls... Not so much fun fighting the…
@Meowshi: I hate that song and that... can't call them a "band" but whatever they are. I'm an English teacher. I have to, obviously, use the names of letters in class from time to time. What song do you think I'll hear when the students think they're being funny?
My biggies, Theme of Laura and the Chrono Cross theme have already been mentioned, but I have SO MANY that about tie for third place...
@daniel.parrey.subs: Have you played SD3? I moved onto SD3 as soon as the fan translation was released after years of waiting, and I think the music is much better. In particular, the basic boss theme, Nuclear Fusion (there are, like, 20 boss themes in SD3, not like SD2 / SoM which only had... 3 or 4)
@Syptel: Theme of Laura and the Chrono Cross opening... My two favorite game themes of all time.
@Koztah: YES!
Considering the refresh rate on digital ink devices, an emulator on an actual Kindle rather than a Kindle emulator would be entirely pointless, as opposed to only mostly pointless like this.
@BubbleF**kingBuddy: Hence the "still" as in "the higher 360 sales in the US don't change that"
@excaliburps: @MoBoRoS: The stain was photoshopped in.
