Dude, "Dog and Butterfly" has Mistral Wind on it. That song is probably the best studio recording Heart ever did.

The Fishers were gone for Even it Up and the Bebe Le Strange Album. In fact, Roger Fisher was barely even present on Dog & Butterfly. Their power ballad stuff was more a product of their record company than the talent within the band. The few songs written by the Wilsons and band that made it on their 80s records

Their early stuff is much closer to Led Zeppelin than Pat Benatar. The Wilson sisters never did the tough girl leather crap of Benatar, and Benatar never did anything remotely similar to Love Alive, Magic Man, Crazy on You, or Barracuda.

She ain't so fat these days. Appears to have been on a crash diet the last couple of years.

And "Alone", done by a group called i-ten several years before Heart.

"Alone" would be another cover song more famous than the original.

I love that part of it. That's the part that used to give me nightmares when I'd hear it on the radio in the middle of the night.

"Wild Child" and "Black on Black" were good songs too but they were in the 90s. Mainly got album oriented rock airplay instead of Top 40.

If Looks Could Kill was good too.

They did have some really good album cuts in the 80s and early 90s that got rock radio airplay but weren't big hit singles. For some reason the only singles their record company would release were power ballads. If Looks Could Kill was good though.

Have you seen her lately? She's apparently been on quite a diet.

Listen to the lyrics and it goes from being a pleasant sounding ballad to being a dark crazy weird nightmare that makes you want to take a shower.
