Dear Jalopnik,

I agree!

Arguably, using non-runners that look just good enough to fool most people was the smartest thing about the whole endeavor...

What's a Saab?

Hashtags are ruining this country

Too bad the first generation HRV was a lot cooler:

So, let me get this straight: Missori cops want to punish black men for putting their hands up and saying "Don't shoot." Hrm.

you know what I find offensive? 18 year olds getting shot and prosecutors intentionally throwing the case

I agree. I spend far too much time on Craigslist lol

This was completely for fun and to see how far I could get. Its not a get-rich-quick scheme by any stretch. Every morning when I wake up at 4 am I spend 30 mins in bed scouring classified sites all over the world. Definitely a passion....an odd, odd passion

A bad job is still a bad job, no matter what country it's in.

right, except the tires in the video don"t look to be regroovable and resemble consumer grade car tires that are absolutely a wear item. I have no issue with retreading a tire when the tire is designed to accommodate it in the first place, but a person eyeballing it doesn't seem like the best method of doing it.

I could swear I saw part of the cord in one of those grooves.

You can also install the battery in the back to help with the balance.

Question:

I am actually a Certified Texas Department of Safety Vehicle Inspector. I wouldn't be John Q. Public trying to get my car legal.

I have some self-tapping sheet metal screws that say that car is legal. Let's get cracking. It can be fixed pretty later.

My first car was a rust bucket 1.6 Fiat 131 TC that turned into a project that I almost finished but couldn't complete before moving to the UK. It spent long years in the garage in the countryside while I was in Budapest, so my parents got fed up with it, after which I managed to sell it to the best possible people.

My friend was sexually assaulted at a college party one night, so her boyfriend found the guy's home phone number and called his mother in the middle of dinner to tell him what he had done.

You had never seen a person repent so fast before.
