See I don't get this. WAH premiered (May 1990 at Cannes) before filming began on Season 2. It seems to be a widespread misconception that Lynch had little to do with S2 because of WAH. Very surfacey (though popular) narrative, as Lynch only directed 6 of the original episodes (and only 3 of the 8 hours in the amazing season 1.) I hope you're not implying that 24 hours of TP is low quality.

I actually found the funeral episode to be very entertaining, though I suppose if you're in a real hurry it can be skipped.

Except you will miss David Duchovny's wonderful turn as Denis/Denise Bryson, which to me was one of S2's highlights. Also I'd stretch that to episode 9 to see the killer apprehended.
