They heard about people "getting sideways" in cars, and so...

I knew if I scrolled down far enough someone would have mentioned this.

When I (briefly) worked on the stanford grand challenge car I rode in an earlier version of "Stanley" that was an inline-5vw touareg. I guess that was my favorite, just since it was crazy to be driving around in a car being controlled by a guy with a joystick sitting in the back seat...

"My workers love work. They say, "Work us! Please work us! We’ll work and we’ll work up so many surprises you’d never see half if you had forty eyeses!""

I think this has to be it. There is really no point to this car other than to use up a huge amount of gas and shoot out fire and smoke.

Ha, that's the second thing I thought when I saw this (the first was that I was happy the cop I saw while on my phone the other day just yelled at me rather than giving me a ticket...)

If I ever make a phone, I'll be sure that the camera will only ever record in landscape mode.

What? I thought that apostrophes are used to say, "look out! Here comes an 's'!"

That's not the only thing in the video I'd rather have then the Soul...

Probably not, just being random.

Ha, I knew I'd eventually be able to justify the presta valves on my tires!

Yes you do, everyone just drives them in reverse all the time...

"it must be freaky to drive something whose nose is so far ahead of you."

This is not like the scene from star wars, it's the introductory scene for Spaceball One... which I can't find on youtube right now, darn.

Someone who lives near me drives one of those.

One time a guy rear-ended me at relatively low speed, and somehow tried to blame me for it (in english bad enough that I could only understand what he was trying to say based on his hand gestures and overall tone and body language). But his bumper had fallen prey to The Bumper Conundrum, while mine, magically, had

This was the first thing I thought of when I saw the headline as well.

Dude, why are you replying to comments from a year ago?

You know how when you slightly crush an aluminum can it sometimes rips a little, and then you can easily tear the can apart by twisting the top and bottom? (Well, you can, trust me).
