I don't see why they have to look like anything but this. Paper is so passe.

$1050

I'm sure this has been said before, but apparently not recently enough to be on the first page of comments.

I would like to point out that Mythbusters showed that you can indeed polish a turd (especially a lion turd) to a high sheen.

What if you're in an Prius LMP (heard yesterday)? You know, for the irony.

Heh, the first thing that came to mind when I saw this qotd was "Too tight? You could park a jumbo f—-ing jet in there Tyrone!"

Crap, I came in here thinking there was no way I needed a pickup truck, and it turns out that I do!

My friend had a Ford Aerostar that he always took to the snow. AWD, heavy, space for lots of people and gear.

"Muni, the subway that's part of San Francisco's Bay Area Rapid Transit system"

Why is this weird?

In high school and college I used a TI-85 and then TI-89. They were nice, but I always felt like I wasn't a "real" dork because I didn't use an HP...

You could live out of the Element and not pay rent. You probably couldn't do that (as easily or comfortably) with a Taurus, and the savings would be greater as well.

Apparently Russians are good at building things that work well even when full of water and mud...

I'm amused that they cut that little chain at the beginning with a dremel.

I was going to post about how Rowan Atkinson called the NSX "Image Free."

Don't forget the plymouth voyager! My parents still have one of those, though it hardly ever gets driven, and then trepidatiously. It was actually the only vehicle in which I've ever gotten a speeding ticket (82), though at times it went significantly faster than that.

You should know right away that it's counterfeit... I can't imagine that the US would ever make a $600 bill.

Lol, it's impossible to find that stuff...

Every time I come back to gizmodo I'm immediately let down. I just read about this same research on io9 ([io9.com]) (also part of the gawker network, even), except over there it was, you know, an actual article that said things that were true rather than things that sounded dramatic and were sort of based on the truth.
