Whose goal? Says who? Scalping laws always target the inflated price, not the inauthentic tickets. “Consumer protection” laws aren’t only about being scammed, but also sometimes about price gouging, I don’t see why this isn’t or shouldn’t be different.

Well for a tailgate it makes sense because presumably they can have some sort of automated system that will open it for you (you push a button or, like the Fords, wave your foot under it and it opens).  For regular doors it’s completely stupid gimmickery.

It’s an odd term for one of beer’s most notorious off-flavors, since few of us have ever had the misfortune of really tasting skunk. And for a beer to present skunked aromas at a level comparable to a skunk’s smell, well, that would be quite a terrible feat of manufacturing.
