Unfortunately I think the vast majority of “automation” scenarios are based on a single person living alone. It becomes infinitely more complex to do a lot of these things with multiple people. I have a ‘16 Mazda 3(s). Gear shifting is harder for sure — near impossible at times. Never been particularly happy with the gearbox in this car, but in the cold it can get really hairy. Clutch also seems to engage a lot quicker, but I think that might be because of the higher idle speed messing with things.
