Of course everyone in Ohio drives the speed limit, they’re second to maybe Virginia in “we’ll pull you over just because we feel like it and find something to give you a huge ticket for.”

That sign probably saved a much more devestating crash into the bridge....

Eh, whatever. Most people consider a collared shirt to be more dressed up than a non-collared one. Be a snob all you want, but if it’s about presenting an image to the general public, a polo shirt will do just fine for most people.

Totally agree. Jeans and a clean t-shirt is somehow too much to ask for a lot of people. 8AM classes in college had a higher dress code than the airport a lot of times.

I always button up, I also don’t care for polos, but, culturally, a collar is usually considered more dressy.

I’m sorry, what about that vehicle is a convertible SUV? The only thing SUV-ish about it is the ride height (and probably fuel economy). It has no trunk at all and no more seats than something like a Sebring. If you took it on worse than a well-maintained gravel road, like most modern “SUV’s” it would be utterly

Even a decent polo shirt (which is just a T-Shirt with a collar, let’s be honest) and jeans or khakis (I find khakis far more comfortable than

There’s a crossover where nice and comfortable meet, I aim for that. Then again, I’d rather be naked than seen in public wearing sweatpants.

Not unreasonable. Anyone who can look at that abomination and not hate it has something wrong with them.

Uhh, unless by some miracle raw corn tastes delicious while undercooked corn is tough and disgusting, I’m going to keep cooking corn....

I wrote that six years ago, so I actually have grown up quite a bit since then, thanks!

Done! I imagine the post office will struggle with 1llamarampage but I have faith in our postal system.

Case in point :

Oh we had people who tried to try them all, believe me, and even with 130 people in our yard that day, we still had some leftovers :)

You don’t need a cake, you need 12 cakes!! (from our wedding, which was in our back yard).

Who me? I’ve been around (both the state and the Kinja world) for a while now :)

Gah people are just joyless.

Tha’ts a pretty ridiculous leap from what I said. My procedure is usually

I always get lectured for unapologetically passing on the right, but as long as people don’t know how to use the left lane I don’t feel bad about it. My newest mantra is that passing on the right shouldn’t be illegal, BEING PASSED on the right should be illegal. If you are in a position where someone was able to
