I’ve never agreed with this method of adjusting your mirrors. It’s not hard to glance 90 degrees to your left and / or right when changing lanes to check your blind spot. It IS hard to turn all the way around a full 180 and look behind your car when pulling out of a parallel parking spot, or if you’re in heavy

Take off the wheels and you can fit a bike in the trunk of most sedans.

Don’t remember, it was someplace recommended by a former local.

Yeah no, I was driving. It was just instant heartburn. I can see how it would appeal to the drunk and or stoned crowd but just being indulgent and disgusting doesn’t always mean “good” to me.

Are you saying that chicken fingers and boneless wings are distinct items, or just that the latter name is stupid?

I had one of these a few years ago when driving through the area to Niagara Falls, based on rave reviews form other friends. It was truly disgusting.

Haven’t gotten a ticket in ten years saying that, so.... I think I’ll take personal experience.

LOL, right, it’s not a cure all. The best way to not get a ticket is to not break the law, but.... good luck always doing the speed limit on a highway you drive every single day.

The “fuck pigs” bumper sticker probably isn’t doing you any favors, then? ;)

Right, apologize for not realizing you may have been doing something wrong, not for doing something wrong :)

Be polite and apologetic. That’s it. Excuses never work because if you give an excuse you’re admitting you purposely were speeding. “Sorry about that officer” has worked pretty well for me. But then again, so has being over 30 (I got a bunch of tickets in my 20's, respectful apologies or not, so it may be out of

My car (Mazda) has a touch screen and a knob. I much prefer to use the knob. Why would you want a touchscreen while rdiving? You have to look at a touchscreen to use it. A knob, not so much.

I want you to think honestly about this — when you yank on your parking brake, do you check the dash to be sure the brake light is illuminated? Every time? Or do you assume that an action you’ve done a million times in life will produce the same results as it always has?

I know reading is really hard, but I’ll repeat what I’ve said — this is absolutely preventable and ultimately the woman’s fault.

It can be both her mistake AND a terrible design. And people can make mistakes without being dumb.

Big surprise, a personal responsibility lecture.

Look, she probably shouldn’t get a huge settlement from this, or maybe even any settlement, but there’s enough of a gray area to say it’s a terrible design but still not award giant payouts. Just saying “someone is stupid” for making an easy mistake is the worst type of cowardly self-righteous keyboard warrior

Are you self-identifying as a self-righteous asshole?

Truly amazing all of the self-righteous assholes who come out on these posts. This is a pretty obviously flawed design. Yes people should set parking brakes but the manufacturer knows that not everyone does (if 10% of automatic drivers do I’d be amazed, in fact).

Saw a similar post below, sorry to be repetitive. New Kinja messes me up.
