Sorry if I came off as not-light. I find language and local dialect fascinating (maybe because I grew up with and have largely tried to shed one of the most maligned accents in the country), but I don’t take it personally.

Um, what? Wikipedia pronunciations are identical. Local accent aside, the pronunciation of the name is the same.

Worcester is pronounced that way because the town in England is, not because of our stupid accent (see also : Leominster, Leicester, etc).

I know this is a few days old but I honestly don’t understand people who say you should never pass on the right. At least, not in America. Sure, blah blah blah the Autobahn where everyone follows a specific set of rules, but “keep right except to pass” is not even taught in America, let alone followed or enforced.

My now wife; it was our third date. We had had the typical “drinks” date, and then a “dinner” date, but for our third date we got our dogs together for a short hike. After the hike we threw them in my car (an ‘04 Subaru Impreza Outback Sport) and decided to go for a little drive, which turned out to be like a 4-hour

Locke is the most entertaining movie you will see about a guy talking about pouring concrete.

That’s $1,025 per month for parking! That makes Manhattan look cheap. CHEAP.

My question about the hose or even bidets is... what is the story in cold climates? Like, Vietnam doesn’t get cold (as far as I know) so it’s not an issue, but I live in New England. Water fresh out of the tap is like, 40 degrees F. Spray that on my ass and it would be almost painful. I know there are inline water

Well, I sure have egg on my face . That comedic picture I posted which in no way condones or mentions his personal life and in no way benefits him as a performer or person definitely condoned his accused actions. Let’s take all light-hearted out-of-context pictures completely seriously and remind everyone the world

You seem like a delight.

Right? Those tools seem so basic and simple and yet make the job 1000x easier.

Ha, nice catch, thanks.

Like most things, it’s relatively easy when it goes smoothly. The thing about drum brakes, at least in my experience, is they’re generally (not always, but again, my experience) on older cars and a lot of parts are rusted on or fragile, so things that should be easy or straightforward end up being a HUGE pain in the

Could be! Could even be a store-by-store thing. I mean, in general, California is probably more friendly to having a tree anyway, since it’s not as cold? Not sure. And I love Home Depot in general, just find their plants to be generally bad, and their Christmas trees to be particularly bad, by me.

I avoid Home Depot trees like the plague (I swear they cut those things in fucking August) but you can usually find local places that have non-terrible pre-cut trees. It’s still going to mostly die in your living room by Christmas but it’s still better :)

Grr angry bitter grrr

I’ve never had outright hallucinations, thankfully, but for a while I was having episodes quite often. Usually it’s just a general terror of being completely paralyzed and unable to speak or move, sometimes bundled with the fear that I can’t breathe.

Two things

Yes, I have it set up as email forwarding, as I said the only time it becomes problematic is if I have to send email FROM that address (say, to customer service); at that point you have to actually create the account on your server to send from.
